We invite you to be a part of SWE-HA and help support our organization and members in our mission of empowering professional engineers to succeed and advance in engineering as well as guiding girls towards careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Studies show that early influences make an enormous impression on girls. Our goal is to help shape an academic interest in STEM disciplines in elementary school, high school, and college, leading to careers in these fields. Your support will help chaperone young women to view engineering and science as a life-long passion and provide continued support in their professional development.
FY24 marked the 45th year of SWE-HA building a community in the Greater Houston Area with over 1,000 paying members and over 2,000 community members. In FY24, over 500 members attended at least one SWE-HA event; this number continues to grow as the section expands what it can provide to the community with the help of sponsorships.
