The SWE Houston Area section invites our members and supporters to donate and create a named scholarship. You can forever make a difference in someone’s life!
What
The SWE-HA Scholarship encourages female students to pursue an academic engineering or science discipline. The recipient(s) will receive a monetary award towards the first year of study (Freshmen Scholarships) or later years (Upperclass Scholarships).
When
While donations will be accepted at any time throughout the year, named scholarship donations must be committed before December 3rd to be awarded the following spring. Sponsorships received after this time will be applied to the following year’s scholarships
Why
By donating, the sponsor can pick the “name” of the scholarship they award, set additional criteria, and honor their school, their family and/or those who helped them in their lives.

- via Zelle. Send payment to treasurer@houstonswe.org. Include the following memo “SWE HA Named Scholarship Donation.” Please note that we encourage payment by check or Zelle to avoid online processing fees; or
